Are you looking for a summer job where you can enjoy the outdoors, make a difference in children's lives, and be part of a supportive, fun-loving team? Apple Tree Learning Centers is hiring full-time Summer Camp Counselors for our team in Stowe and Morrisville, Vermont.

Full-time Summer Camp Counselors will work onsite from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is available and often required, providing you with additional earning opportunities throughout the summer.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER
As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will spend your days creating and leading outdoor-based, exciting, and engaging activities for school-aged children. You will work closely with a diverse group of kids, including those with varying needs, ensuring everyone is included and having fun. Your day will be filled with laughter, teamwork, and the satisfaction of keeping children engaged for long periods with creative curriculum you design. You will collaborate with other teachers, adapt to changing situations, and help maintain a calming, supportive environment. Training is a key part of your experience, as you will attend lifeguard certification (paid for by Apple Tree) and complete mandated reporting and CPR/First Aid training.
SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to attend and complete Lifeguard Certification (paid for by Apple Tree)
- Ability to complete mandated Reporting and CPR/First Aid training
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse population of children, including those with varying needs
- Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative attitude
- Enjoys spending time outdoors and working as part of a team
- Fun, calming, and positive personality
Experience, degrees, and other credentials in the field are preferred.
