Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Ludlow, MA, serving high school students within a specialized program designed to support learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This role involves working in the Compass High Program, providing personalized and supportive education outside traditional settings to foster independence and skill development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing speech-language pathology services to high school students with ASD and other learning differences
  • Supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with state and program requirements
  • Participating in team meetings and family consultations to support student outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure and compliance with all state requirements for school-based SLP services
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in school settings, particularly working with high school populations
  • Demonstrated ability to support students with ASD or similar learning profiles
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with SLPA staff

Location:

  • Assignment based in Ludlow, MA (client office located in West Springfield)
  • Full-time contract for the 2026/2027 academic year, approximately 32.5 hours weekly
  • Estimated dates: August 27, 2026 June 22, 2027 (dates may adjust with the finalized school calendar)
