Job DescriptionSecurity Project Manager

Location: Onsite in Marlborough, MA
Pay Range: $51.50 - $60.50 per hour

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Security Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of global security system projects. This role ensures that security solutions-including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems-are implemented effectively and align with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain in-depth knowledge of security industry trends and technology solutions.
  • Define project scope, timelines, resources, and assess risks to ensure effective mitigation strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, functional partners, and internal customers across global regions.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring for timely completion.
  • Assist installation teams with programming, resource coordination, and testing/commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and requirements.
  • Generate high-level plans, communications, and schedules to prioritize tasks and adjust workloads.
  • Attend construction meetings as needed to ensure successful integration of security systems in new builds or renovations.
  • Assess and manage project risks, troubleshoot issues, and engage appropriate resources to mitigate impacts.
  • Lead phase and business reviews, document meeting minutes, issues logs, decision logs, and key metrics.
  • Complete project closeout and go-live processes, ensuring requirements are met and handover is successful.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience (or MS degree with 4 years).
  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience required.
  • Security industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in security systems (surveillance, access control, alarm systems).
  • Strong communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on project needs and communicate effectively via virtual platforms.
  • Understanding of network connectivity and software configuration troubleshooting.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents.

Preferred:

  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • Security system design or administration experience.
  • Factory certifications in platforms such as LenelS2, Milestone, etc.

Pay Details: $51.50 to $60.50 per hour
