Approximately 10-15+ Patients Per Day Depending on Hospital Volume

Clinical Responsibilities
\n
Provide Inpatient Cardiology Coverage
\n
Work Independently Alongside an Interventional Cardiologist
\n
Manage New Cardiology Patients
\n
Conduct Follow-Up Visits
\n
Perform Inpatient Rounding
\n
Complete Clinical Documentation
\n
Coordinate Discharge Planning
\n
Coordinate Patient Care With the Cardiology Team
\n
Participate in Required Call Coverage
\n
\n
Support Staff
\n
Interventional Cardiologist
\n
\n
Requirements
\n
Board Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner - Required
\n
Active Virginia License - Required
\n
Candidates Requiring Virginia Licensure Will Not Be Accepted
\n
ACLS - Required
\n
BLS - Required
\n
DEA - Required
\n
More Than 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Cardiology or Similar Experience - Required
\n
Must Be Comfortable Working Independently in an Inpatient Cardiology Setting
\n
Clean Background - Required
\n
No Malpractice or License Issues - Required, No Exceptions
\n
\n
Credentialing
\n
Credentialing Needed as Soon as Possible
\n
