Kelly Science & Clinical is excited to present an opportunity for a technically driven Quality Assurance Manager to join our client near Springfield, MA.
This highly respected organization maintains multiple regulated laboratory facilities and is seeking a science-minded quality professional with a strong foundation in ISO compliance, Good Laboratory Practices, and analytical chemistry to help drive their quality management systems forward. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $90,000–$130,000Shift: M-F, 1st shift. (Some travel between two sites)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing internal audits, including documentation, processes, and procedures
- Overseeing external audits conducted by municipalities and accreditation bodies
- Writing, maintaining, and reviewing all SOPs and administrative processes to ensure sample integrity, certifications, licenses, and accreditations are upheld
- Managing and reviewing documentation control systems
- Maintaining ISO compliance and enforcing GLPs (Good Laboratory Practices)
- Overseeing the integrity of recorded data in logbooks and electronic systems
- Coordinating special projects with the Chief Scientific Officer
- Staying organized and multitasking in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
- Collaborating effectively within a team while also working independently as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences
- 2+ years of ISO experience (ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 preferred)
- Have experience with the CORE Compliance Platform (preferred)
- Analytical chemistry experience (preferred)
- Are at least 21 years of age and are eligible for DCP ACER License approval
- Are detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Are comfortable performing basic math, repetitive motions, and standing/walking for extended periods
