Direct Counsel is working with a highly respected law firm seeking a junior to mid-level Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join its Boston office. This is a great opportunity to work on high-profile trade secret and patent matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a nationally recognized team.
What You’ll Do:
- Work on all stages of IP litigation, including trade secret and patent disputes
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Manage e-discovery (ESI), including document review and production
- Assist with depositions, witness interviews, and trial prep
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex, high-stakes cases
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–4 years of IP litigation experience (mid-size or large law firm preferred)
- Experience with trade secrets, patents, or related IP matters
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Technical background (biology, chemistry, AI, or computer science) is a plus
- J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials
- Massachusetts Bar admission (or eligibility) required
Compensation & Perks:
- $235,000 – $310,000 base salary (based on experience)
