The LCMHC will work in a supportive remote environment, collaborating with fellow mental health professionals from the comfort of their home. While our operations are primarily virtual, the Outpatient Office in Bennington serves as a resource center for team meetings, training sessions, and an occasional client visit when required. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health issues and develop personalized treatment plans that address these specific needs.

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

  • Establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients, guiding them towards achieving their mental health goals through consistent support and constructive feedback.

  • Maintain comprehensive, secure, and professional client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring a high standard of confidentiality.

Our patient population represents a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, and presenting concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and family dynamics. Our counselors are equipped to handle various complex cases, providing empathetic and culturally competent care to meet the individual needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.

  • Current and active LCMHC licensure in the state of Vermont.
  • \n

  • Experience with a variety of treatment modalities and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

  • Capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, showing flexibility and adaptability in workflow.

Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health counseling role, ideally within an outpatient setting.
