Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-8 students as a substitute behavior support professional on a per diem basis. You’ll work 1:1 with students in a diverse school setting, providing essential guidance and hands-on support to help them succeed throughout their school day.

Key Qualifications:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential, or experience as a Paraprofessional or Behavior Specialist
Professional background working with Level 3 Autism caseloads
Previous experience in a school environment is a plus
Confident supporting students with non-verbal communication and moderate to severe behavioral needs
Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care tasks
Additional skills such as CIP/Restraint Training, De-escalation Training, or similar certifications are a bonus

Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 behavioral and academic support to K-8 students during the school day
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of the school team
Assist with communication strategies and de-escalation techniques for non-verbal or high-needs students
Offer personal care assistance, including toileting, as needed to ensure student safety and dignity
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a positive educational environment
