Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist is needed for a contract position at an elementary school located in Dover, NH. This role offers an opportunity to support students within a structured educational environment, requiring professionalism and expertise in student counseling.

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Duration: Contract - Current School Year (CSY)
Schedule: 20 hours per week, 3 days per week
Caseload: Approximately 12 students, focusing on high school students with Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD)

Qualifications:

  • Must hold current licensure as a Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist
  • Certificates or Statements of Eligibility will not be accepted
  • Experience working with the EBD student population is preferred
  • Ability to provide individual and group counseling services to support student emotional and behavioral needs

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement counseling strategies tailored to students with emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective support plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust approaches as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
