Job DescriptionLegal Assistant Established 20+ Years Premier Firm Seeking Legal Assistant for Litigation Support in Boston, MAAn established firm based in Boston with over 20 years in practice is seeking a Legal Assistant with 2-4 years of litigation experience to join their team onsite. This Legal Assistant will provide administrative and litigation support for federal and state court matters, arbitration, and FINRA proceedings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in document preparation, filing, and case management. Offer:
$70,000 - $75,000 Based on experience

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of litigation experience, with four years preferred.The candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Massachusetts Rule 9A procedures, state and federal e-filing systems, and legal research tools such as Westlaw and PACER.The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit professionalism under pressure. Responsibilities:
The legal assistant will assist with the preparation and editing of pleadings and discovery for federal and state court matters, arbitration, and FINRA proceedings.The legal assistant will draft letters and discovery templates, maintain the office calendar with case-related deadlines, and organize client files in both electronic and paper systems.The legal assistant will assemble hearing and trial binders, prepare deposition exhibits, and liaise with courts and litigation vendors. The legal assistant will provide general administrative support, including phone coverage, mail handling, scanning, and supply management, and will archive closed matters as needed.
