Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Identify and address safety hazards and repair needs promptly
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Maintain the grounds/exterior of the building, including lawn care and snow removal
- Transport residents to medical appointments and outings with company vehicles
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance work
- Skills in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and respectful demeanor when interacting with residents
- Willingness to support the Homes mission and values
- Valid Vermont State Drivers License with a good driving record
