Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Berlin, VT, United States. Travel assignment at a 100-bed hospital with a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Unit. Start date 08/03/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,939–$2,003. Shift: 3x12 Nights. This hospital-based role requires ICU/ED exposure and pediatric-neonate experience, with on-site RT support and flexible credentialing assistance.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care for all ages, including ICU and ED patients
- Manage mechanical ventilation in conjunction with physicians and critical care teams; adjust settings per protocol
- Administer inhaled therapies (bronchodilators, hyperinflation therapies) and perform airway clearance techniques
- Implement noninvasive ventilation (V60 NIV, Airvo 2, HFNC) and NIV protocols; use CPAP/Bubble CPAP as indicated
- Perform bronchodilator therapy, nebulization, and related airway management; assist with patient transports as needed
- Document care in the electronic medical record and collaborate with Pulmonary/Critical Care staff and hospitalists
- Participate in unit-specific procedures and cross-unit support as required; adhere to unit protocols for bronchodilator therapy and NIV
Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT) with Vermont license to practice; or eligible with license on file at submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; NBRC Verification required or on file
- Minimum 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience; neonate/pediatric (NICU/PICU) experience required
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Ability to work in a hospital setting, including ICU and ED environments; willing to work night shift and adhere to a structured schedule
- Must start within the required timeframe and comply with facility orientation and credentialing timelines
