If you have experience in automotive repair, HVAC, appliance repair, maintenance, construction, electronics, or another hands-on technical trade, we provide the training needed to build a rewarding career with Acorn Stairlifts.
What You'll Do
Technical & Service Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain Acorn stairlift systems in customers’ homes.
- Perform preventive maintenance and annual safety inspections while ensuring high-quality, reliable workmanship.
Customer & Field Operations
- Provide professional customer service by explaining repairs, equipment operation, and maintenance recommendations.
- Work independently throughout an assigned territory while managing schedules, work orders, documentation, and communication using a company-provided mobile device.
Vehicle, Inventory & Safety
- Maintain an organized company vehicle and accurately manage parts inventory to ensure supplies are available when needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment while representing Acorn Stairlifts with professionalism and integrity.
