Job Description About This Role 
Work alongside our program director to run the after school program. We are a k-5 program that runs out of Mary Hogan Elementary. You will be in charge of managing the children and staff on your side of the gym in the role of room lead or co-room lead.
<ul>
<li>Must be able to work 4-5 days a week M-F from 2:40pm-5:30pm.</li>
</ul>
 What You'll Do 
<ul>
<li>Lead and instruct staff on day to day plans.</li>
<li>Work alongside other program staff to manage 25-35 students in an after school environment.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Help prepare and serve snack&nbsp;</li>
<li>Manage transitions from school day to program, to bathroom, and to indoor and outdoor activities</li>
<li>Engage with kids during crafts, games and activities</li>
<li>Manage occasional individual and group behaviors</li>
<li>Help clean space </li>
</ul>
 Requirements 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma</li>
<li> Experience working with children or in childcare settings</li>
<li>Experience in managing staff</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally</li>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>CPR and first aid certifications, or willingness to receive</li>
<li>Patience</li>
<li>Positive attitude</li>
<li>Friendly </li>
