- Job Details
- Float Pool M/S Tele RN position requiring willingness to float to 8 different units.
- Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips.
- Two years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours.
- TR Band experience required.
- Clinician to patient ratio: Days & Eves up to 5:1, Nights up to 6:1.
- Patient population includes ED border patients, acute mental health medication nursing, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients.
- Bed count: 371 with units ranging from 8 to 41 beds.
- EMR system used: EPIC.
- Job Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN License required.
- Two years of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Telemetry monitoring skills including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours.
- Ability to perform cardiac drips and read telemetry strips.
- TR Band experience required.
- Schedule Information
- Days, evenings, and nights rotating schedule.
- Rotate and every other week (EOW) schedule.
- 36 hours per week.
- Unit Specific Information
- Float Pool RN position requiring floating between 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units: Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow units.
