What You’ll Need:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) credentials
  • Previous experience supporting children in educational or pediatric settings, particularly at the elementary level, is preferred
  • Familiarity with implementing therapy activities designed by a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to manage documentation and track student progress effectively
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist a Speech Language Pathologist in delivering therapeutic interventions for elementary-aged students
  • Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted communication goals
  • Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce speech and language development
  • Record and report student performance, identifying progress and areas of need
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and families to ensure cohesive support for each child
  • Maintain compliance with school and professional standards for therapy services
