Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to formulate individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies tailored to client needs.

• Provide consultation as necessary for the development of crisis management plans, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that complies with all regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Employ evidence-based assessment tools as guided by clinical protocols to enhance treatment accuracy.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement positive behavior support plans that promote client success.

• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure adherence to best practices in mental health care.

• Act as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to facilitate seamless care coordination.

• Foster productive communication channels with local and state agencies, seeking new alliances and partnerships to bolster community support for mental health initiatives.

• Commit to ongoing professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and training sessions, and representing the organization in community and statewide gatherings.

• Integrate and promote the agency’s mission, philosophy, and values in all interactions and practices.

\n

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational goals effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to provide therapeutic support to individuals experiencing a broad range of mental health issues. This includes patients navigating emotional difficulties, those recovering from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities. The counselor will work closely with diverse populations, utilizing culturally sensitive approaches to foster rapport and understanding.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Must hold an active, independent LMHC license.

Compensation and Benefits\n
