A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to serve students across two charter school campuses in the Keene, NH, area. In this part-time, onsite position, you will work closely with school leaders who value flexibility, allowing you to collaborate on a schedule that supports both your needs and those of the students. Your expertise will make a direct impact on students in grades 1, 2, and 5, enhancing their learning experiences through targeted assessment and therapy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current New Hampshire Occupational Therapy (OT) certification required
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proficient in delivering both consultative and direct OT services to students
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Reliable transportation for travel between school campuses (Keene and Surry, approximately 15 minutes apart)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver approximately 110 hours (6,595 total minutes) of student-focused OT services for the remainder of the school year
- Provide direct and consultative therapy for students at Gathering Waters (Keene) and Surry Village Charter School (Keene and Surry locations)
- Adapt therapy plans to meet individualized student needs
- Conduct consultations and direct interventions per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document services in line with district standards and maintain accurate records
- Attend meetings and communicate regularly with school staff and families to support student progress
