Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance operations and ensure equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support, coordinate daily maintenance activities, and lead a team of Process Technicians. Reporting to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager, you will partner closely with Production and Engineering to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all scheduled and unscheduled repair activities to minimize downtime.
- Assign and coordinate daily workload for 2nd shift Process Technicians.
- Develop and execute maintenance plans aligned with production schedules.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support to production management.
- Train, mentor, and develop Process Technicians to build team capability.
- Ensure maintenance resources are effectively utilized to support operations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team management experience.
- Experience with CMMS systems preferred.
- Electrical or controls knowledge is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency with computers and maintenance-related software.
