We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with youth, conducting youth assessments, and providing behavioral health therapy, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to residents aged 16 to 22 within a residential group home setting. The responsibilities include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing/approving treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support clients' mental health and well-being.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive youth assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct individual and group therapy and safety checks
- Remain on-call to respond to behavioral health crises
- Documenting all behavioral health assessments as part of youth's treatment planning
- Conduct evaluations of incoming clients to determine their fit for our level of care
- Create and approve safety plans within 24hours, 30 days, and 90 days of Treatment plans.
- Serve as Direct Supervisor to our clinical case manager, overseeing the overall management of youth case files, medication management, and overall treatment plan facilitation
- Participate in meetings with staff and DCF treatment teams to discuss clients
- Provide psychotherapy services, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to clients ages 15 to 22.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor client progress throughout the treatment planning process.
- Strong foundation with knowledge of the Virtual Gateway
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support for clients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- LICSW
- LMH
- Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Clinician or equivalent credential in the state of practice.
- Experience in patient assessment and providing behavioral therapy services.
- Knowledge of pediatric mental health
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
