Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Massachusetts School Psychologist to provide school-based psychological services at a high school in Chicopee, MA. This role supports student assessment, intervention, and consultation within a dynamic educational environment. The assignment runs through June 25, 2026, with an immediate start preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to support student learning and well-being
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to building-wide initiatives aimed at student empowerment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license is required (submission of license screenshot with application is mandatory)
- Experience working in school settings, preferably at the high school level
- Strong knowledge of school-based psychological practices and state regulations
- Ability to complete a background check and fingerprinting within the initial days of assignment
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to accommodate school schedules
