Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district located in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials to support elementary students in grades K-3. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students with moderate to severe behavioral needs, providing critical intervention and support within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Work closely with educators and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
- Provide direct services to students with moderate to severe challenges in the K-3rd grade range.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate to adapt strategies as needed.
- Supervision can be provided locally or through virtual arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary setting.
- Knowledge of behavior analysis principles and effective intervention techniques.
- Ability to manage a caseload and operate within a coordinated team environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Location:
- Position located in a Massachusetts elementary school serving early childhood education.
Employment Details:
- Contract-based for the current school year (CSY).
- Full-time hours.
- Caseload focused on Kindergarten through 3rd grade students.
