A specialized contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is based in Ludlow, MA, serving a unique program within a high school setting designed for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The position focuses on delivering personalized, supportive education outside traditional classrooms to help students develop independence and essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to high school students in a specialized program.
- Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a holistic support environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credential meeting state requirements.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, especially with high school-aged students.
- Background knowledge in ASD and learning differences.
- Ability to work effectively in a specialized educational program.
Position Details:
- Location: Ludlow, MA (assignment site; client office located in West Springfield).
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
- Contract Type: School Year (CSY) contract.
- Start Date: Approximately August 27, 2026.
- End Date: Approximately June 22, 2027.
