Responsibilities include:
- Delivering targeted instruction to a caseload of 10–15 students, primarily in 3rd grade, using flexible instructional models tailored to individual learning needs.
- Providing small group and one-on-one support across 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, ensuring no student’s growth is left behind.
- Collaborating daily with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to develop creative solutions and foster a culture of inclusion.
- Taking responsibility for classroom management and caseload organization, setting clear expectations that nurture student independence and growth.
- Advocating for the resources and strategies students need to thrive, while keeping meticulous records and sharing updates with the broader instructional team.
Qualifications sought:
- Valid special education certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt across grade levels and seamlessly support a diverse student body.
