Position Overview: Shaker Bowl is seeking an experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position. This role requires a flexible schedule, including a combination of days, nights, weekends, and holidays. As a key contributor to our front-of-house operations, the Front Desk Supervisor ensures smooth and efficient service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent customer service and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk & Guest Experience - Oversees guest-facing interactions to ensure excellent service, accurate transactions, smooth lane and POS operations, and a welcoming atmosphere from open to close.
- Staff Leadership & Operations - Provides day-to-day supervision, guidance, and leadership to staff to ensure efficient operations, accountability, and consistent performance standards.
- League Coordination - Manages league operations by coordinating lane assignments, practice schedules, and accurate processing of league payments.
- Facility Presentation & Safety - Maintains a clean, organized, and safe facility by monitoring cleanliness standards and enforcing safety rules to protect guests and staff.
- Inventory & Revenue Support - Supports revenue operations by managing vending inventory, stocking, and cash handling while ensuring accurate tracking and availability.
- Marketing & Business Development - Assists in promoting the center and driving growth by supporting social media content and outreach efforts with local businesses, colleges, and service organizations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisor role within the hospitality or entertainment industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work alternative hours, including nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of bowling alley operations is a plus.
