Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Orford, New Hampshire
Schedule: Part-Time | Minimum 20 Hours per Week
School Year: 2026–2027
Setting: Direct 1:1 and Small Group Instruction
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instructional support to students in Orford, NH for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about delivering targeted interventions and helping students achieve their academic and developmental goals through personalized instruction.
Caseload & Services
- Caseload of approximately 6–12 students
- Provide direct 1:1 and small group special education instruction
- Support students through individualized learning strategies and accommodations
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure student success and progress toward IEP goals
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals and individual learning needs.
- Develop and implement effective instructional strategies and interventions.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate special education documentation.
- Provide academic support through individualized and small-group instruction.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and school teams.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Special Education license required.
- Experience providing special education services in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
