**Dynamic RN - Float Pool (Med/Surg, Rehab, and Geri Psych) - Day Shift** **Job Description** - Join a mission-driven team that promotes comprehensive clinical care and patient well-being. - Float between Med/Surg, Rehab, and Geri Psych units, ensuring adaptable care for diverse patient needs. - Deliver exceptional nursing care by executing provider orders and providing in-depth clinical documentation, including care plans each shift. - Engage in meaningful feedback to enhance nursing practices and care standards. - Communicate effectively for seamless patient care through bedside shift reports and multidisciplinary rounds. - Maintain compliance with unit-specific competencies and complete all learning modules on time. - Foster a culture of well-being within the department by reducing alarm fatigue and promoting a positive atmosphere. - Ensure safety and security for patients, visitors, and staff by adhering to established protocols. - Identify and assist in correcting patient care safety issues to enhance overall patient outcomes. - Participate in unit-based safety huddles and adhere to Just Culture principles to promote safe practices. - Stay current with nurse-sensitive indicators (e.g., CAUTI, CLABSI) and engage in quality improvement initiatives. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to leverage expertise across different specialties. - Assist all team members and embrace the opportunity to serve as a preceptor for new nurses. - Demonstrate commitment to shared governance by participating in annual peer feedback processes and engagement surveys. - Manage patient education materials to ensure cultural competence. - Maintain current nursing licensure and certifications required for your department. - Complete mandatory dysrhythmia training prior to orientation completion for telemetry-based departments. - Be open to additional responsibilities as needed within the role. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
