Position Overview\n
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced registered nurse to join our team in an adolescent unit. This position demands a strong background in psychiatric nursing, particularly with adolescents, and requires a commitment to providing exceptional care in a supportive environment.

- Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 per week
- Weekend Duties: Every other weekend
- On-Call: Possible call

\n\nKey Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess individual and group needs, implementing appropriate interventions.
- Utilize the nursing process to address the complex nursing care requirements of patients.
- Provide clinical supervision to mental health workers to ensure the safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- Support a treatment environment focused on healing and recovery for patients managing co-occurring psychiatric issues.
- Contribute to the development of strategies that promote sobriety and mental well-being for patients.

\n\nQualifications\n

- Must have recent adolescent psychiatric nursing experience within the last three months.
- A minimum of five years of nursing experience, with inpatient psychiatric experience during the last three months.
- Experience with adolescent psychiatric/behavioral health populations is essential.
- Willingness to float to other units and take charge shifts as needed.

- Current BLS (AHA) certification is required.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification is preferred; certification can be obtained on-site.
