Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Nashua, NH

Part Time: Approximately 2025 hours per week

Caseload: Supporting students across multiple grade levels with hearing impairments, providing direct instruction and consultation to staff. District prefers to discuss more details at the interview to ensure the best fit based on experience.
Requirements:

Masters Degree in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing or related field

Valid New Hampshire state teaching license with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing (or eligibility to obtain)

Strong knowledge of assistive listening devices and communication strategies (e.g., ASL, Signed Exact English, auditory/oral approaches)

Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

Previous school-based experience preferred
