Qualifications:
- Active psychologist certification in the state of Massachusetts
- Previous experience as a school psychologist within an educational setting
- Solid understanding of behavioral and academic assessment tools
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and observations for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other staff to develop effective intervention strategies
- Participate in the creation of individualized education and behavioral plans
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Communicate assessment results and recommendations to parents and educators
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to school and legal requirements
