Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site

About the Role

We are looking for a polished, dependable, and technically capable Facilities
Technician to support daily operations within a modern, pharmaceutical
environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work,
communicates clearly, adapts well to technology, and understands the importance of
professionalism in a scientific setting.

As part of our facilities team, you will support lab spaces, office suites, mechanical
systems, and controlled environments where precision, cleanliness, and attention to
detail are essential.

What You Will Do

General Facilities Operations

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facility spaces.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify issues, safety concerns, or compliance needs.
  • Complete minor repairs such as door adjustments, drywall patching, painting, and small carpentry tasks.
  • Assemble, move, or reconfigure office and lab furniture, racking, and workstation equipment.
  • Support safe handling and monitoring of mechanical systems including gas cylinders, refrigeration units, and basic plumbing.

Project & Vendor Support

  • Assist and oversee subcontractors to ensure quality work, adherence to site guidelines, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to support facility upgrades, repairs, and operational planning.

Controlled Environment & Lab Support

  • Work in clean spaces, labs, and controlled environments following proper gowning and safety procedures (training provided).
  • Understand and follow basic GMP expectations for cleanliness, behavior, and professionalism within sensitive areas.

Technology & Documentation

  • Use mobile devices, facility software, and work order systems confidently.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and updates.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, vendors, and management.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in occasional on-call rotation.
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance appropriate for a life-science environment.
  • Use company-provided tools and follow all safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or mechanical systems preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to stay organized, follow procedures, and work independently when needed.
  • Comfort working around labs, scientific staff, and regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with GMP, cleanrooms, or biotech facilities is a plus — but we will train the right person.
  • Competence with smartphones, tablets, digital logs, and maintenance software.

Professional Qualities

  • Reliable, steady, and self-directed
  • Presentable and professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable with evolving technology
  • Respectful of safety, cleanliness, and protocol
  • Team-oriented with a positive, solutions-focused mindset

Benefits

  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Life Insurance
  • Professional growth within a high-standard, modern facility

Why This Role Might Be Perfect for You

You enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and supporting a facility where
quality, precision, and professionalism matter every day. You like environments
where expectations are clear, standards are high, and your work genuinely contributes
to something important.

If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply and join a team that values skill,
integrity, and continual growth.
