Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 educational institution in Springfield, MA is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for a 3-month maternity leave coverage position during the Fall. This contract role supports a school with approximately 800 students and focuses primarily on psychological evaluations and related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 8 psychological evaluations monthly to support student academic and behavioral planning
- Collaborate with educators and staff to interpret evaluation results and assist in the development of student support plans
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student needs
- Comply with all state and federal guidelines related to school psychological services
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license in Massachusetts
- Experience conducting psychological assessments within a K-12 school setting
- Strong knowledge of educational laws, special education processes, and assessment tools
- Effective communication skills to work with students, families, and school personnel

- Springfield, MA (Position based within the school premises)
Duration:
- Approximately 3 months (Fall), covering maternity leave on a contract basis
This role excludes counseling responsibilities and centers on evaluation and school-based psychological services. It presents an opportunity to contribute essential psychological expertise to support students academic success during this key interval.
