A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a middle school in Worcester, MA, offering a contract role for the current school year. This onsite opportunity involves providing speech-language services to middle and high school students, supporting their communication needs and fostering their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in middle and high school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of supportive educational strategies.
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably at middle and high school levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-35 hours per week onsite.
