Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding role supporting middle school students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule—five days per week, seven hours each day—focused on making a meaningful difference for a caseload of approximately 21 students. You’ll collaborate with passionate educators and families, helping students develop essential communication and language skills that will support their academic and personal success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license and eligibility for state certification as required
- Experience working within a school setting, particularly at the middle school level, is highly recommended
- Strong clinical competence in assessment, planning, and implementing individualized speech and language interventions
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
- Dedication to fostering a positive and supportive environment for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 21 middle school students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive strategies and environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the wider school community as needed
