Maintenance Technician
Location: Marlborough, MA 01752
Schedule: M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $33.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
100% onsite maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and building systems.
Respond to emergencies and participate in a rotating on-call program.
Perform basic electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance.
Conduct preventive maintenance: inspect drives, motors, replace filters, etc.
Build/demolish partitions, repair plaster/drywall, and paint.
Maintain equipment in cafeterias, laboratories, offices, and factory.
Schedule and oversee contractors.
Utilize hand/power tools and electronic testing devices for repairs.
Maintain records, read blueprints/schematics, and use service manuals.
Use a computer for emails, work orders, and HVAC system control.
Must-Haves:
5+ years of experience in maintenance or a skilled trade in manufacturing/industrial settings.
Basic knowledge in at least two areas: electrical, plumbing/pipefitting, HVAC-R, etc.
Ability to respond to emergencies and work in rotating on-call shifts.
Skills & Attributes:
Good reading comprehension and technical aptitude.
Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and solve problems.
Physical stamina for walking, climbing, lifting, and working in various environments.
Commitment to safety and compliance training.
Additional Information:
Engage in mandatory company-provided training for safety and specialized environments.
Ability to switch tasks quickly and manage multiple tasks location-wide.
Must be comfortable working in variable conditions and using ladders/lifts.
