Job Summary:
Join the Lafayette Center - Magnolia Centers team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in Franconia, New Hampshire. As a critical member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to design and implement individualized treatment plans, empowering patients to regain independence and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:

Assist occupational therapists in the development of treatment plans, conducting assessments, and implementing interventions to promote patient progress

Conduct daily living skills training, transferring skills to home environments, and providing patient education

Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and modify activities to meet patient needs, ensuring a safe and effective therapeutic environment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, share knowledge, and develop professional relationships

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care using electronic medical records
Requirements:
Successful completion of an occupational therapy assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)

Maintain certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or be eligible for certification
