Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapist (OT) certification (required)
- Experience providing OT services in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level, is preferred
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and student documentation requirements
- Ability to implement creative therapeutic interventions tailored to students’ needs
- Flexible, organized, and collaborative approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary school students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and monitor progress to support each student’s unique educational journey
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop interventions and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting per school district and state guidelines
- Communicate progress and recommendations to families, school staff, and other care providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
