Step into a dynamic contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, working within a supportive educational environment near Derry, NH. Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to collaborate with K-12 students from August 2026 through June 2027, serving a diverse caseload primarily consisting of students with Autism, many of whom benefit from AAC devices.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for SLP licensure (CCC required)
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
- Ability to manage a small caseload—typically ten or fewer students—providing individualized attention
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services for K-12 students as outlined in each IEP
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Provide direct therapy services, with a focus on students requiring AAC support
- Document interventions, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultative support to educational staff and families on communication strategies and device integration
- Adapt programming as needed based on student response and collaboration with team members
