Step into a pivotal role supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity will allow you to work one-on-one with a first-grade student, implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions that make a true impact. The contract covers the entire school year, from August 2026 through June 2027, with weekly hours ranging from 32.5 to 37.5.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Active RBT certification required
- Previous experience working with children—preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families
- Adaptability, patience, and genuine passion for guiding children’s behavioral growth
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the student’s success throughout the school year
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support and behavioral intervention for a first-grade student throughout the school day
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by supervising clinicians
- Collect accurate data and progress notes related to the student’s behavioral goals
- Collaborate with behavioral teams, teachers, and school staff to foster a supportive educational environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and periodic meetings with supervisors to ensure open communication and continued success
