Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be elderly clients, many of whom face significant psychological challenges related to transitions in health, lifestyle, and relationships. The role requires a sensitive approach to addressing the individual needs of seniors, many of whom may come from diverse cultural backgrounds or have varying degrees of cognitive impairment. Your ability to connect with clients on a personal level contributes significantly to their treatment and recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

  • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in Massachusetts.

  • At least four years of recent experience providing mental health counseling to geriatric populations.
