Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A newly opened pharmacy within a federally qualified health center (FQHC) requires a dedicated Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to oversee daily operations and ensure seamless communication with internal healthcare providers. This direct hire position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic pharmacy team while maintaining compliance with 340B program requirements.
Location:
- Primarily based in or near Burlington, VT or Hanover, NH
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Pharmacist In Charge, managing the pharmacy’s daily activities
- Ensure compliance with 340B program regulations and maintain program integrity
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure efficient workflow
- Foster strong, effective communication with onsite providers to support integrated patient care
- Use the Best Rx system for pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in an FQHC setting is essential, with demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with healthcare providers
- Must hold a current Vermont pharmacist license in good standing
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage provider relationships and internal communications efficiently
