Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.

We are currently accepting applications to teach Social Science, specifically American History, for both the upcoming Summer and Fall semesters.

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Social Science

Experience: Two years of teaching or business/industry experience directly related to physics.

The Vice President of Academic Affairs will determine adjunct levels. Adjunct level will be determined based upon Education and Experience.

Current rates are:

Level 1 - $825.00 per contact hour for the course
Level 2 - $900..00 per contact hour for the course
Level 3 - $975.00 per contact hour for the course

Rates for the Fall 2026 semester will be:

Level 1 - $850.00 per contact hour for the course
Level 2 - $925..00 per contact hour for the course
Level 3 - $1000.00 per contact hour for the course
