Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager with a current MA RN license and BLS certification for a day shift leadership role.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a nursing unit within a health care facility
- Day shift schedule
- Responsibilities include overall operation and supervision of assigned nursing unit
- Supervise Team Leaders and collaborate with Social Services and interdisciplinary committees
- Oversees and maintains compliance with Federal, State, and local nursing standards and regulations
- Participates in discharge planning, resident care plans, and quality assurance programs
- Responsible for infection control and safety monitoring within the unit
- Conducts staff training, orientation, and evaluations
- Manages supply ordering and fiscal oversight for the unit
- Upholds resident rights, including confidentiality and respectful treatment
- Involved in daily rounds, audits, and documentation review
- Dress code compliance is required

- Active MA RN license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in nursing leadership or management role preferred
- Ability to supervise and direct nursing and support personnel
