Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for licensed Special Education Teachers to make a meaningful impact across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. This contract position is located near Manchester, NH and is set for the remainder of the current school year, with the potential to extend into the 2026/2027 academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students in grades K-12 in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess students' skills and learning requirements, adapting lessons to meet diverse needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement educational strategies
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions
- Foster a supportive classroom environment where all students can grow academically and socially
Qualifications:
- Current and valid New Hampshire teaching license with certification in Special Education
- Experience supporting students in elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), or high school (9-12) settings
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time, documentation, and classroom responsibilities efficiently
