This dynamic contract opportunity offers the chance to serve as a Physical Therapist, working with a manageable caseload and collaborating with a dedicated team focused on student success.

The role is structured for approximately 1.5 days per week, with working hours from 8:15 AM to 2:30 PM. You’ll primarily support elementary students, providing direct physical therapy services and consultations, while also collaborating with high school teams on a consultative basis. With approximately 10-12 students across two conveniently located school sites, you’ll enjoy a focused caseload that allows you to make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Massachusetts
  • Previous school-based physical therapy experience is required
  • Ability to effectively assess student needs and develop individualized IEP goals
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to eligible students in the PreK-12 setting
  • Complete assessments and evaluations, and develop IEP goals
  • Provide consultative support to educational staff and families, maximizing student independence
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
