A new community pharmacy serving a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Wells River, VT is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to oversee daily operations. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with FQHC experience who excels in provider communication and team leadership.
Location:
- Burlington, VT or Hanover, NH area preferred, supporting the Wells River pharmacy
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Pharmacist In Charge, responsible for all aspects of pharmacy operations
- Oversee technician supervision and workflow management
- Ensure compliance with the 340B program and related regulations
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal healthcare providers
- Utilize Best Rx pharmacy software for daily tasks and reporting
Qualifications:
- Current Vermont pharmacist license in good standing
- Previous experience working in an FQHC environment is required, emphasizing onsite provider collaboration
- Proven ability to manage provider communication effectively and build strong relationships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster team cohesion and efficient operations
- Leadership experience in pharmacy operations, including staff management and compliance
