Position Overview

The BIM/VDC Coordinator plays a key role in advancing digital design and construction initiatives across projects. This position partners closely with project teams, designers, and subcontractors to ensure coordinated, accurate models that support efficient construction, reduce risk, and enhance project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain coordinated 3D BIM models throughout design and construction phases

  • Perform clash detection and lead BIM/VDC coordination efforts across multiple disciplines

  • Facilitate and participate in coordination meetings, documenting issues and tracking resolutions

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure model accuracy and constructability

  • Support the development and implementation of BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows

  • Assist project teams with constructability reviews and provide VDC support to field operations

  • Prepare reports, visualizations, and model deliverables to communicate coordination results

  • Serve as a BIM/VDC subject-matter resource and promote best practices across projects

Qualifications

  • Experience working with BIM/VDC tools such as Revit and Navisworks

  • Background in construction, architecture, engineering, or construction technology preferred

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
