This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a focused caseload of three students in a supportive school environment near Lebanon, NH. Your expertise in speech-language pathology, especially with selective mutism, will be highly valued throughout this assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Demonstrated experience working with students affected by selective mutism
- Proven ability to provide effective SLP services within a school setting
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech-language therapy for students as outlined in their IEPs, focusing on the unique needs of learners with selective mutism
- Deliver up to six hours of direct services per week, with additional time allotted for administrative tasks, documentation, and team meetings
- Serve students on a one-day-per-week schedule, with eight consecutive hours dedicated to meeting all responsibilities
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop strategies and monitor progress
- Ensure all documentation and reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner
