About Us: The Adirondack Club is a leading Youth and Adult training facility dedicated to helping people of all ages and skill levels achieve their full potential. We pride ourselves on offering personalized, evidence-based training programs that cater to the unique needs of each client.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness and skilled in designing and implementing training programs for a diverse age group. This role requires a balance of enthusiasm, expertise, and the ability to adapt training methods to varying skill levels and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development:

    • Create and implement individualized and group training programs tailored to client’s age, experience, and specific needs.
    • Design age-appropriate exercises and drills that promote skill development, strength, agility, and overall performance.

Assessment and Evaluation:

    • Monitor and track progress, providing feedback and adjustments to training programs as needed.

Training and Coaching:

    • Deliver high-quality training sessions that are engaging, motivating, and challenging.
    • Use a variety of coaching techniques to instruct and inspire clients, ensuring correct technique and safety.
    • Foster a positive and supportive training environment that encourages growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or a related field a plus
  • Certification in Personal Training, strength and conditioning (e.g., NSCA-CSCS) or similar credentials.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in Personal Training, with experience working with a wide age range and varying skill levels.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective training programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
