This contract position is designed for a dedicated school psychologist with a passion for guiding students through behavioral, mental health, social, and emotional challenges. As a full-time team member, you will work closely with staff and students to foster a supportive and inclusive school atmosphere.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in a school setting preferred
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field preferred
- Proven ability to work with students exhibiting behavioral, mental health, or emotional needs
- Familiarity with tiered interventions and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum
- Experience supporting students in meeting counseling goals as outlined on an IEP
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to inform student support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to deliver targeted interventions
- Provide individualized and group counseling services to address emotional and social challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP counseling goals
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings focused on student success
- Support crisis intervention and consultation as needed within the middle school setting
